INTRODUCTION (COMPANY PROFILE)

COFFEE OMEGA (M) SDN BHD, was incorporated on September 2007 with a vision of becoming the leader in processing and trading of food and beverages (especially. pre-mixed herbal coffee) of quality goodness not only for local consumption but also for the global market.

It was founded by two aspiring retirees who desire to form a legacy company which can be continued for numerous generations. It started from being a stockist for a coffee product in the late 2005 and having formed strong trusted relationships with the marketers, distributors, suppliers and manufacturers of herbal food and beverages, it was then decided to go into manufacturing and distribution of  herbal pre-mixed coffee drinks.

To show our commitment, the company has negotiated to operate at prestigious SME Bank’s Factory Complex at Batu Caves Gombak, Malaysia. Our first products of seven varieties packed in boxes of twenty sachets were out in the market in December 2007, while two varieties packed in hanging board (papan) were only out in the market last February, 2008.

The logo , an omega symbol around the head of a horse with five stars was chosen as it signifies the below:

Omega is a form of good cholesterol and our coffee will live to its name as our coffee products which are free of chemicals, additives or artificial flavors , are blended with selected herbs, which are used traditionally for its effectiveness in reducing total cholesterol, treating elevated cholesterol levels, indigestion, abdominal pains, migraines and many more depending on the product. Besides the omega symbol is a horseshoe.

A horse is chosen as it is brave, challenging, fast , lean and halal – qualities which the company would like to be associated with.
